In this low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) program fundamentals course, we will examine how the program is structured, along with important timeframes. We will explore LIHTC partnership expectations, capital accounts and tax consequences, review resident eligibility and income requirements, rent structuring, and state tax credit monitoring agency reporting requirements, as well as identify ways to protect your organization from non-compliance.
