Course Description:
This module examines landlord-tenant law, housing code enforcement, evictions, and notice requirements; appropriate governance of a housing authority, including the roles of the Board and Executive Director; ethics policies and considerations; as well as procurement laws and regulations. Duration: 3 Hours. Passing Exam Score: 70%.

Learning Objectives:
- Recall the type of initial notice required for each eviction, information to be included, and types of conduct that provide a proper basis for eviction
- Identify the steps in the eviction process
- Identify when a tenant can commence an action against a landlord, and statutory obligations to tenants
- Examine appropriate governance of a housing authority and the roles of the Board and Executive Director
- Examine the ethics policies required for housing agencies, and how to address conflicts of interest, gifts, and employee fraud
- Recall the procurement laws and regulations
